The new units complement the existing 85,000 square metres of commercial and urban logistics space in the park. All units meet the highest construction and sustainability standards. The existing space is fully let.

SEGRO Park Berlin Airport comprises a light industrial area and a logistics area. Due to the continuing high demand for modern commercial and logistics space, the park is growing steadily.

Another commercial section is currently under construction. A new type of building is being built here, comprising three units with a total floor area of 2,441 square metres. Unlike traditional light industrial properties, this highly sustainable building is being constructed using a timber frame. This is complemented by recyclable materials and a photovoltaic system to reduce CO₂ emissions. Completion is scheduled for August 2026.

In addition, two new logistics units with a total floor area of 18,500 square metres are currently under construction. This will expand the logistics area to over 90,000 square metres – including the approximately 72,500 square metres from the first construction phases. Completion is scheduled for June 2026.

Further construction phases with additional light industrial and urban logistics space on the site are already in the planning stage.

Tim Rosenbohm, Director of Light Industrial at SEGRO in Germany, says:

“The phase of construction that has now been completed is our largest contiguous light industrial development in Germany to date. The fact that more than a third of the space has already been let at the time of completion demonstrates the continuing high demand for modern commercial and logistics space. We intend to build on this success with the planned further phases of construction.”

SEGRO Park Berlin Airport is located just a few minutes from Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the A113 motorway and Berlin city centre. It therefore offers excellent transport links for employees, customers and suppliers.
